The recent photos on my page are from a Gallery in Ashbourne (Derbyshire) which is currently displaying my work. The Gallery mainly contains a lot of landscapes and animal paintings because of the rural countryside surrounding the villiage. But that's of no matter the people in the Gallery said it needed brightening up, so that was my job! I was very pleased with how it went actually, unlike the other pieces of work I have completed this year for my Degree Show at DMUniversity They took me a considerably amount of time to put up (they even came down a few times too!) But anyway it is up now and there will be some more work to follow!

Bioform Series I want the idea behind my work to be transformed into something unrecognisable and in doing so I only create an essence of the subject rather than build an obvious depiction. I focus on the qualities of colour, form and composition, however for this body of work I have chosen to incorporate the fundamental elements and complexities of plant life which mimic the intricate structures found within nature, embedding its elements and exploring the concepts of its construction The sculptures I make are themselves actual physical explorations into thinking, feeling and communicating the process of how plant life can grow uncontrolla

Wow, final year at uni has gone so quickley, it seems like only the other week I was just about to enrol! The new photos are the last of my uni work titled Bioform Series. Within the Series I have explored the narrative of plant life but have actually come to a point where the paint colour and surface has taken over the work. I seem to be living in a world of colour and I don't want it to end . . .  but I will enjoy it until then end! I hope you like the work!
